Personality and Appearance: Monee is a wild one and it shows in her very appearance with bleach blonde hair that falls in braids, twists, and curls to her waist and it is constantly falling loose from it's bindings for some reason. Bright sky blue eyes stand out against her tanned complexion and she is constantly smiling, more so grinning mischievously, but she seems to always be the happy one. Clothing of bright shades and of various dresses and pants/tunics combinations graces her lean body, though she is still a bit small in height, even with the height of her twin brother. She is not much for jewelry, but two sets of small hoop earrings of copper and green reflect the memories of her dragonriding parents who died in the earthquake and a woven necklace with a variety of colored strands is always about her neck, her thanks to her brother for constantly being there when she needed him the most.
Monee is wild. She is outgoing to an extreme and is often finding something new to tackle or learn, having only settled in a Guild in the rare case that she fails to Impress before her chance is up. Always cheery and always social, Monee is rarely alone. She has even been known to play roughly with the boys about the Weyr and so sometimes has a scrape or cut somewhere that she shrugs off as nothing to worry about, surprisingly having never broken anything. She is constantly cooking up a good prank and is rarely alone in carrying it out. She does have a mellow side since the earthquake, having not quite accepted that her parents are never coming back yet, but only her brother really sees her upset for he is the only one she will let her inner emotions show around. Unlike her brother, Monee has already discovered the amusements of the opposite sex, but she does not go out actively seeking a partner as she is hoping to Impress a dragonet before finding her true love.
History: Monee was born to a pair of dragonriders, her father a descendant of the Northern refugees and her mother a descendant of the South. She was just a few moments later than her twin brother and thankfully, their birth did not cause their mother's death for she had had complications with them, but Faranth was watching and had other plans for the greenrider. Raised in the creche with her brother, Monee and Gem knew their parents well as they often visited or spent at least a mark out of the day with them. As Monee grew, she took on a wild streak while her brother remained much more calm and obedient, yet they still shared a calmness between them that only siblings would know.
At just 12 years, while her brother tried his hand at the Astronomy Guild, Monee was often found causing mischief about the Weyr and sometimes in the Holds when an adventure was due.
Unlike her brother, Monee was never Searched and so did not Stand for her first clutch until she was of age for Weyrbred children. While her wildness remained, she chose the same Guild as her brother of Astronomy and caught on fairly quickly, still finding the time to get into mischief between Astronomy and Candidacy.
Then the earthquake struck in her 15th year and took away those Monee loved the most. Her father had been buried beneath the rubble and her mother lost in an aftershock's rumble, copper and green Betweening forever after. It was then that Monee mellowed slightly and attached herself more firmly to her brother, having taken the losses hard and in that past month since then, her pranks and mischief have been noticeably less, but she is slowly coming around to her jovial self again…
