We have three different types of accounts which you can choose from when it comes to character creation. Please specify which type you would like to use when registering. Of course, you're allowed to change at any time.
1) Global Accounts: You'll have one account which you conduct all activity from, both OOC and ICly. Your account will be assigned the groups necessary for your characters and any admin abilities you might have. The profile of global accounts should link back to the character sheets.
2) OOC/IC Global: You have one OOC account which you conduct all OOC business from, to include character submission. Once your character has been approved, you'll create an IC account for that character and the sheet will be transfer to that account's profile. OOC accounts only have access to post on the OOC boards and IC accounts only on the IC boards. If you go with an OOC/IC set-up, your OOC account signature should include all the characters you play, and your IC account signature should include a "Played by: xxxxx" line.
3) Multiple Accounts: You have multiple accounts, one for each character you play. These accounts have the ability to post and access to both the OOC and IC boards. When you join with this type of account, you'll be restricted to OOC boards until your character sheet as been approved. At that time, we ask that you transfer your character sheet to your profile, and IC access will be granted. There is no signature specification for this set up, as in practice, we shouldn't be able to tell your accounts are being played by the same person.
