Where golden Hipath once stood, guarding the eggs she had lain before, now bronze Heweth stands guard. Approach carefully, but preferably not at all. At least for now.
Center point of the clutch is an egg wrapped in golden feathers and what looks to be clouds. It's almost as if this egg is flying already, even on the sands where it rests. The little queen inside, for it is in fact a gold egg, could very well want to fly from the moment she leaves her shell. As much as the girls might wish it to be so, however, the shell is still rock hard, and not soft like the feathers it looks to be.

The Sunken Figure Egg
The Sunken Figure Egg
Beneath what seems to be an egg of a frozen surface, there seems to be the outline of a figure long forgotten. Up close, it's easy to see that the figure hidden beneath icey the surface is a horse, with it's mane and all, though it seems to be in a style long forgotten by the inhabitants of Pern. Perhaps the dragon beneath with have the spirit of a horse as well.

The Roaring Lioness
The Roaring Lioness
This earthen egg has the outline of a roaring lioness on its side. It seems to be glowing, echoing the color of the rest of the egg's surface, while roaring a dark cloud all the same time. One might think to approach this egg with caution, but it's just as safe as all the other eggs about it.

The Egg of Cherry Blossoms
The Egg of Cherry Blossoms
Beneath the speckled pink surface, one can readily see cherry blossoms all over this egg's surface. It will more than likely appeal to the girls over the boys any day. It's a happy, cheerful egg, and well at place in the tropical climate that surrounds New Caledonia Weyr.
