Personality and Appearance: Randy has dark brown hair with light brown streaks through it that reaches her lower back. She normally keeps it pulled back, but every once in a while will leave it down. Her eyes are a dark green that always seem to be dancing. She loves to smile and it’s obvious in her face. She only stands about 5’3”, so she is on the short side, but she never let that bother her any.
Randy is very outgoing. She loves being around people and making them laugh. If she sees anyone upset then she’ll try her hardest to make them smile. Randy is very responsible. She helped her mother for Turns around the house while her brother and father were at the mines. She even helped them in the mines at times. The only time you’ll see Randy cry is when she’s reminded of her brother. Randy loves to sing. She always has and her brother would sit for hours and listen to her. Now, she only sings when she’s alone.
History: Randy was born to Dalar and Rayna at Tauth hold. She was the youngest of their two children. Randy looked up to her older brother Danlik. The two were always together. Danlik was always trying to teach Randy something new.
The girl loved to go help her father and brother in the mines and actually managed to make an apprentice in her 13th turn. Although two Tuns later turned out to be an awful year for the girl. The miners had been trying to get the Lord Holder to allow them to make changes to the mines. It never happened though as the Lord Holder was greedy.
Randy was too young to really realize dangerous the mines were until her brother was killed in a cave in that could have been prevented if they had had the extra supplies to shore up the mine better. After that Randy learned everything she could about the mines and how she could help to make things safer for people. She had already lost her father and brother and she didn’t want anyone else to have to go through the same loss as herself.
Before the girl has a chance to really get any further in her progress as a miner a dragon came to their little Hold on Search. To her surprise, the 15 Turn old was taken on Search and returned to New Caledonia. Randy managed to Impress at her first hatching to a beautiful little green named Cleoith. The pair seemed perfect for each other.
As time went on she realized that one of the other riders had their eye on her. Randy, of course being as outgoing as she was easily introduced herself to him. The two struck up a fast friendship and his dragon won Cleoith’s maiden flight. After that the two always seemed to be together.
In her 20th Turn Randy discovered that she was pregnant. She gave birth to a healthy little girl who they named Kikaya. Although the poor green rider did have a few health problems and was bed ridden for almost two sevendays after Kikaya was born. She did her best to care for her daughter though and it was easy to see that her mate adored the little girl as well.
Even when it was time to foster Kikaya they still visited the little girl as much as they could. Now though New Caledonia could be in danger as many of the dragons were lost to a terrible earthquake which left Cleoith with a scar down her side, but that was thankfully it. There are now only 60 dragons left and everyone is hoping for a good clutch and no more disasters.

Dragon’s Personality: Cleoith is very lively, always chattering about something and she is perhaps the most social dragon in the weyr. She'll talk to anyone, which might frighten quite s few visitors. However, she's not a gossip, but is extremely sweet- natured, and fairly smart for a green. She always has to be doing something, she hates being idle, and if she isn't working hard, she's inventing some sort of game to play,. Despite her never-ending talk, she has a dutiful nature, and always does her work first, in fact she can be a bit of a nag to her rider and others, but she always has good intentions.
Dragon’s Appearance: 00FF22 Cleoth may be small, but even at 21 feet, her brilliant green hide makes her look larger than life. The vibrant color is marked by a pattern that looks like some sort of complicated crystal matrix which is somewhat difficult to look at. She's all quick darting movements, but is more than a little clumsy. A long thin scar mares her left side from falling rocks during the quake that took so many other lives. Her clumsiness worked to her advantage that day as when she fell the rocks missed her.
